During the last 10 years the SZIVSN (helping you!) Heartily National Association has been actively teaching, forming, supporting and representing heart disease and inherited high cholesterol disease (familial hyperesterolyemia FH).

December 2020, we held our 250th SZÍVSN event, this year for patients with heart disease and those interested in heart function, disease development and rehabilitation, so far in front of 6000 people in the lecture hall of the Városmajor Cardiovascular Clinic. The main topics are: infarction and its treatment, pacemaker and ICD lifestyle, lifestyle of patients with arrhythmias, lifestyle of patients taking anticoagulant drugs, informing patients with genetically high cholesterol, health awareness nowadays.
Fighting cardiovascular disease – a blueprint for EU action

In October 2018, the FH Foundation, at its annual Global Summit honored Roger Williams MD to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of publication of the World Health Organization (WHO) Consultation on familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), the most common genetic disorder causing premature atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and underscore continued gaps in identification and care. (1) FH, with a prevalence of about 1:220-250 worldwide, causes lifelong elevated levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c).
